identity and calligraphy.
the neighborhood is perceived as very chaotic, with a multiplicity of different kinds of urban spaces.
a new identity is built from the ground plan and the arrangement of the volumetric and furniture elements as a "deformation" of it, with a unifying material, brick.
a system is applied, as a catalog or alphabet, to build the narrative of a diverse urban space full of specific and exceptional circumstances in each corner.
this system dialogues with the characteristics of each space, managing to maintain the particular identities of each place and at the same time build the unity of the whole.
living spaces.
the neighborhood lacks if living spaces, understanding them as meeting spaces for neighborhood life or as spaces for rest and stopping in relation to climbing itineraries.
the project discovers all the nooks and crannies in which it is possible to create living spaces, characterizing by their welcoming capacity and comfort. trees, generous shrubs, low herbaceous vegetation, permeable pavements, and benches.
domesticity
domesticity of urban spaces is enhanced, as an extension of the houses. the pavement contacts the "inhabited" facades with brick "carpets", as a surface to put on pots, take out the lounger in the fresh air, etc...
